This petition is dedicated to Elmo, a Congo African Grey parrot who lived with Dawn Plummer for nearly 5 years.

Dawn was in Nigeria as a missionary for over 6 years and is from Scotland in the UK. After contacting the UK authorities it seemed possible Elmo would be able to go to Scotland but because of Nigerian law the CITES export permit she needed to take Elmo out of the country has not been granted.

Without this CITES export permit, the CITES import permit for the UK cannot be applied for. This means Elmo will need to stay in Nigerian and at the age of 5 said goodbye to the person he has grown to love and has looked after him for as long as he can probably remember.

It is hoped that this petition will raise Elmo's profile so something can be done to let the Nigerian authorities grant the permit which is needed.

Please LETS BRING ELMO HOME!!!!!!

Unfortunately today I'm stuck with my mother at her friend's house and my counter-part has to go to her grandparents house, so no filming today.

I'm super bored even though they let me on their computer xD

In The Beginning There Were Two Teen Hypocrites...

So here we are. Time for us to do something in 2011. So here we are the two self-titled 'Teen Hypocrites' doing something different and lets hope it lasts longer than our New Year's resolutions... enough said.


So to introduce myself my name is Emily and I am 15. I like reading and writing. Most people would probably describe me as quiet, shy and a total bookworm but I do have a crazier side to!


Hi, my name is Samantha but you guys can call me Sam and I'm also 15. I'm like completely opposite to Emily. I don't particularly like reading although I do like some books but I do like to write.  I also like to listen to music (couldn't live without it, as with most teenagers I guess!). I like swimming and cycling also. Just so you know, I'm a very happy person and usually hyper xD I can be serious too though!


So, this is our first ever blog and I'm very excited about it. I'm gonna tell you little about what we're gonna do this year.
Each month we will set each other a challenge whether it be physical, mental or emotional. We will post an update each week to let you know how the challenge is going and feel free to email us ideas for challenges. We are open to your opinion!
At the end of each month we will post a video discussing our challenge and how it was for each of us.


We will also be discussing other topics be it film reviews or books we've (well I've) read and just general day to day life. We hope you enjoy our blog :)
